There it was, my second birthday in Japan, first time I spend so much of my birthday in the same country abroad. I guess birthday is one of the hardest times to spend without your long time friends and your family but this time it did not take a lot of people to have a very good time. Misa worked very hard for my birthday, making a dinner she had me request and 3 small cakes with a different "happy birthday" writing on all of them. The day after our house mate Leo and his girlfriend Rie (so adorable) took us out, we went to a nice macrobiotic restaurant I found in a magazine. The place was very nice and as soon as the owner knew it was my birthday he put together a surprise birthday cake accompanied with the Japanese version of the "happy birthday" song. After that Rie took us in a bar where she is well known because she used to work there, a very nice movie cafe. Same thing there, she plotted with them a surprise and I had another surprise "Fresh fruit cake" along with the same birthday song (after the movie had ended of course)... It was nice and very touching, I was moved I think... I am very thankful to all of them.
We stayed late, playing billiard and darts, we won them all, I guess my birthday luck helped a lot ^^
