Germain Edito:
This Kanda festival (Matsuri) is one of the three biggest annual festivals in Tokyo and most likely the biggest spring festival. We already saw many people from the subway station and on the way to actual location saw a parade of local or volunteers lifting a "portable" shrine (Mikoshi) and dancing/singing on their way.
We saw other parades after that, and there were a large numbers of stalls serving traditional festivals food (Okonomiyaki, Jaga (steamed potatoes) and butter, Yakisoba...) and game (Fishing gold fish with a paper net, shooting price with air gun...) stalls. There were also various events, between different traditional drums concerts or traditional dances and of course all the people who came to pay their respect to the local shrine gods...
A very eventful day....
